Alexander (Alex) Lari
The Claremont Group is headed by A. Alex Lari, a New York University graduate holding both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. His experience is equally divided between construction projects and real estate developments. As a principal of a group of construction firms he co-founded in the 1970′s, Lari built large/scale industrial and residential project. In 1979, Lari formed the Claremont Group which soon developed successful residential real estate projects in the New York. The Group later diversified into hotel, commercial real estate and design – built office projects, leased to the Federal Government. Lari was awarded the 2003 Ellis Island Medal of Honor for outstanding citizenship, individual achievement, and encouragement of cultural unity. Lari is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Affairs Councils of America National Organization. He is also a Director of the Foreign Policy Association; a leading New York City based 88-year-old organization committed to educating American people in international affairs.
Christina Lari joined the family business since 2004- She manages the Town House Development division of the company. She also oversees the special projects and web based technology aspects of the company. Prior to joining Claremont group; Christina was a small business owner. She founded Open Doors New York, an online concierge service that catered to New Yorkers on the go. She has held various marketing and advertising roles in the Fashion Industry.
Stephen Lari is a principal of Claremont Group based in New York. Stephen manages contracts, leasing, governmental and overseas relations of Claremont. With a great deal of the Group’s activities focused on the commercial development and management of GSA leased Federal Government properties, Stephen holds an active FBI security clearance for work on secure Federal Government projects. Stephen earned his B.A. in economics at Trinity College and his M.B.A. with a dual concentration in finance and real estate at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
Jamie Beard recently joined Claremont as a partner in international development operations focused on capital fundraising and investor relations after having a long history as an outside investor. From 2005 to 2012 James served as the President of JMB Capital where he originated, financed and managed single as well as multi-family residential housing developments. From 2003 to 2005, he was the Director of Marketing for the Pan Funds, a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds. Prior to that, he served for six years as Vice President and Head of Venture Services at JPMorgan Securities in New York and San Francisco. Mr. Beard earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2006, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont in 1995.
John Lari is a principal of Claremont Group. Since 1995 he has closely worked on the development of various offices buildings, luxury high-rise residential and student housing projects located throughout the northeast and southern regions of the U.S. Much of his experience has been in the development of design-built GSA office buildings and construction of the firms ground up construction projects. John holds an active FBI security clearance for work on secure Federal Government projects.
Shawn Emamjomeh has partnered with Claremont since 1997 and is currently Iraq country manager with a focus on Sales and Marketing for the Atlantic. He is stationed in Erbil, Kurdistan, where he oversees Claremont’s various projects in the region. He earned a BA in Diplomacy and World Affairs at Occidental college in Los Angeles and MA from NYU. Shawn is also a producer of Broadway shows.
